To all my fellow budokas this is a new community forum for us to use
to discuss various topics in more detail than discussed in my blog.
Please submit any suggestions for discussion topics to me via the
contact me page on my site.

Be careful using the Yoseikan sigle, I was asked to remove it from the
facebook Yoseikan group by someone from another popular North American
Yoseikan group because whoever posted it didn't seek proper
permission.

Interesting.  Thanks for the warning.  I will ask permission from the YWF since I am a member.

Might I ask who asked for the Yoseikan symbol to be removed. I
couldn't imagine YWF would do so. And Auge's group doesn't use the
same symbol.

Color me confused.

Actually after looking it was Auge's group's symbol that was uploaded
to that group. My bad. But still something to keep in mind.

I have asked the YWF for permission to use the sigle.  Well, I sent them a request through their website that is.  Not sure if I'll even get a response.

I doubt that you need permission from YWF, although it certainly
doesn't hurt to ask. Now using another Yoseikan groups image such as
from IYBF and Patrick Auge is another matter entirely.
