Budget First

Budget First is intended to be a free, open source budgeting application that uses pre-emptive budgeting, similar to envelope budgeting or zero-sum budgeting.

We place privacy and optional features first. We want you to have full control over your own data, never forcing you to use someone else's servers or cloud solutions if you don't want to.

We've decided to make the application open source and will develop it with our own personal resources in our own spare time. Development will take a little while, so please don't expect rapid progress :)

Feel free to join in and help us make something great. Feel like there is a feature that you absolutely must have or that you are longing for? Tell us - you can help us shape the software.
