Hi,

I have build the channel-directory part using "mvn package" and it is creating some jars in channel-directory/target folder. Now when i am running "jar -jar buddycloud-channel-directory-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar".

I am getting this error "no main manifest attribute, in target/buddycloud-channel-directory-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT-jar-with-dependencies.jar".
Can you guys guide me how do i proceed.

Thanks
Umesh

Good question... This is not a component that is built very often.

I'd need to defer to someone else on the team.

Background: usually that services runs at search.buddycloud.org and crawls remote channels. You are welcome to run it... or just query search.buddycloud.org (xmpp component) for channels.

Can someone else with more java experience have a poke at building this please?

S.

Hi Simon,

I want search functionality for my domain only. I don't want to crawl other remote buddycloud channel. Is there any workaround for this problem.

Thanks
Umesh

What kind of search do you need as there is some very basic search functionality built into the server itself.
