McGraw-Hill School Education (MHSE), the leading provider of print and digital educational materials for the Intervention, Adult Basic Ed and Workforce markets, has an exceptional opportunity for a Analytics Marketing Manager, located in Columbus, OH.

The Analytics Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing and analyzing natural and paid search engine marketing activities. This position will be key to future growth and will be responsible for the top-to-bottom management of our pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) activities.

Required Skills

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing roadmap including keyword management, creation of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, creative testing, and analytics
  • Act as a strong business manager of the search engine marketing channel. Manage the P/L of the channel by tracking, reporting, and analyzing all PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Responsible for forecasting and budgeting of channel
  • Become a "product expert" in our industry, understand the hot issues and new developments, and create an associated keyword expansion roadmap, working with the Channel/Campaign management team to develop relevant ads and landing page content.
  • Manage the day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing, etc.) including the campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimization of paid search campaigns
  • Grow and optimize our keywords portfolio through testing (A/B and Multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywording, etc.
  • Develop near and long-term PPC account strategies, roadmaps and execute day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion and margins
  • Identify and report on key performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement on a regular basis
  • Partner with eCommerce team to automate campaigns based on metrics
  • Integrate strategies and recommendations into other active marketing channels such as Email Marketing and Social Media
  • Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing, competitive landscape, and keyword research
Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Marketing and/or Business
  • Google Adwords Certification, Google Analytics Certification preferred
  • Requires hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from a conversion standpoint
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with web analytical tools and interfaces
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results
  • A self-motivated individual, a good team player
  • Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with, and influence, executives, peers and subordinates

McGraw-Hill School Education has an opportunity for a Website Administrator. This position is located in Columbus, OH. The Website Administrator maintains Web environment by identifying system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance by working closely with technology teams.

 

Required Skills

Essential Accountabilities:

·         Create, develop, deploy and manage website and administer linux server

·         Establishes Web system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements

·         Establishes Web system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of server

·         Maintains Web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting servers, software, and running system load/stress testing

·         Secures Web system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation

·         Upgrades Web system by conferring with Web services team; developing, testing, evaluating, and making necessary upgrades

·         Updates job knowledge by tracking emerging Internet technologies

·         Maintain release calendar for all web projects

Required Experience

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred

·         3-5 years’ experience managing high traffic websites

·         Solid understanding of Linux server administration

·         Advanced knowledge of HTML, PHP, MySQL, Linux Systems Administration and experience with popular content management systems (Drupal and Wordpress)

·         Experience in editing digital assets like sound, video and imaging

·         Exceptional organizational skills

·         Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

·         Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
