WHY MEDITATE? WHY BE MINDFUL? WHY BE KIND?
Newark Community Meditation Center has asked Bhante Buddharakkhita to explore these questions and teach the simple method of watching the breath mindfully. The art of living meditatively can become integrated with our every day life. It doesn’t change who we are — it simply changes how we deal with ourselves and others — with ease and artfully. Meditation can help you feel calm and happy as well as improve your memory and attention. This program is suitable for beginners as well as advanced meditators. There will be a short lecture, meditation, and Q&A. Please join us for a reception to meet Bhante and a light vegetarian supper before the program!
REGISTRATION: To help with planning, please register for this program and let us know whether you will attend BOTH supper and meditation program or ONLY the program. Thank you!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you would like to serve rather than sit, please contact Marcie Barth at
