Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche (1910-1991) was one
of the great luminaries of Tibetan Buddhism in the twentieth century, a holder
of the Nyingma lineage and a major proponent of the Rimed movement. He was a
highly realized and accomplished master who worked tirelessly for the
preservation and transmission of Tibet's spiritual legacy. He was a
principle teacher of the Dalai Lama. His reincarnation, Khyentse Yangsi
Rinpoche, currently studies in Bhutan and Nepal and will continue his
predecessor’s activities.
