Per our discussion the other day here are some event details:
1. Lansing Buddhist Association 2012 retreat schedule (attached)- provided by BBAC Columbus . These events are in Lansing/ Ann Arbor. If any sangha member is interested, they should email <bb...@columbusbuddhist.org> to find out regarding registration and if carpool is available for the retreat in question. BBAC has confirmed that we can circulate the schedule to whoever is interested.
2. Tzu-Chi foundation is a relief organization in Columbus OH on Henderson Road. They are planning a ceremony on Sun May 13 to celebrate the Buddha's birthday per the attached flyer, which can be distributed. Any sangha member who is interested in attending should call Tzu-Chi Foundation on 614-457-9215 or email Sister Sophia <Chi...@gmail.com> and let her know how many people will attend and whether they will stay for the vegetarian lunch after the ceremony (for planning purposes).
