"Connecting the Network” - BNCO Summit 2019

April 27th, 2019, at 4:30-6:30 PM

ILLIO Studio, 13 E Tulane, 43202

Central Ohio is home to a vibrant “mandala” of active Buddhist communities, but it’s not common for us to connect with one another.

Begun in 2007, the Buddhist Network of Central Ohio is a grassroots organization founded on the principals of collaboration and mutual understanding across difference. BNCO maintains buddhismcentraohio.org. We’ve sponsored “Intro to Buddhism for the Curious” talks, coordinated Buddhist representation at Interfaith events, hosted a booth at the Pride Festival and other projects.

Buddhism in central Ohio is made up of all the diverse individuals and communities that find some value in these ancient teachings for living today. If you’re interested in lending a helping hand to tend the garden of Buddhism in central Ohio beyond your own Sangha, if you have ideas for collaborative projects, or if you’d just like to meet others in the community, please join us!

Participants will gather on April 27th at 4:30 PM to “connect the network” at ILLIO studio in Clintonville, 13 E Tulane, 43202. All who attend will have an opportunity to share what’s going on in their community, get to know others in small groups, and suggest possible future collaborations.

Check buddhismcentralohio.org/buddhist-groups-by-name/ for a list of all the local communities who identify as Buddhist that we know of. We’d love to have at least one person join us from each established group.

Vegan light refreshments will be provided.

May all beings benefit from our activity,

-The BNCO Board
