Technologies of the Self: Kirtan this Sunday, Restorative Yoga CANCELED; Open Meditation: Sonic Mindscapes

Thank you so much everyone who's been able to come to the "Technologies of the Self" series I've hosted (at 13 E. Tulane)! The turn out has been great with pretty minimal promotion. 

FYI: The Restorative Yoga session, scheduled for March 4th, with Ann Tepperman is CANCELED. Ann has important family matters to attend to and, although there are many awesome yoga teachers in the area, I decided not to try and replace the session with anything. I hope to do another series like this in the future and I hope things will be in order for Ann to share her work with us then. If you know her, send Ann your good wishes. 

As a result, the Krishna Kirtan session with Satish More, this Sunday at 1:00, is the final event in this series. I think this will be a lot of fun and I hope folks from a variety of backgrounds and (a)theologies will come and check this out. All ages are welcome. I would also like to make note of our next regular, second-Sunday, "Open Meditation" at the studio (13 E. Tulane), March 11th. This session will an experimental collaboration with sound artist, Mike Shiflet of Monumental Documents <http://www.facebook.com/pages/Monumental-Documents/152447434822153> Plans have not all been developed, but the idea is to do one usual 25min silent session and to have the second 25min with live electronic sonic accompaniment. I'm really excited to try something new with a different kind of meditation session and listening experience!
