gyn-ob recommendations

Dear Budapest Moms,

I'm looking for an English-speaking female gynaecologist located preferably in the 2nd or 3rd districts, but ultimately location is not an issue as long as it's within Budapest. Do you have any recommendations?

Hello Elena,

I just gave birth 6 weeks ago to my youngest. My gynaecologist was Nora Gullai and I'm very happy with her. Her level of English is very high. She's relatively young (thirties) and quite laid back and open minded. I was her patient through Roszakert Medical Center, but I know she works at different places/clinics as well (as I recall her resume pops up if you google her).

I saw this one recently. She was nice, young and speaks English. Next to WestEnd, Nyugati. But I think she only takes private patients.

Dear Elena,

I can very much recommend Dr. Andrea Pop in the 3rd district (G1 Intezet on Lajos utca 74-76, 1036 Budapest, link: g1intezet.hu). She speaks perfect English, she is kind and relaxed but professional. I went to her for pregnancy checks and now also for gynecological checks once a year. But she is quite busy and has lots of patients. I went to her as private doctor, not public, G1 Intezet is a private health institution.

You must know that Dr Oláh delivers babies only in a hospital in Nagykanizsa (Zala county, approx. 250km away from Budapest!)
