We are researching schools,  the American School was our first choice despite their sky high tuition of around 22,000$ USD which we would be paying ourselves.    However, the biggest turn off came when they told us 80% of their students only stay a couple years then move (since their parents work for the consulate in most cases or NGOs)

We are looking at ISB as a second alternative,  particularly their bilingual program and wondering if anyone has their child attending here?  What is your opinion?

Thanks a lot :)

I would say that the American international school of Budapest is your best bet. They have world renowned teachers, facilities and curriculum. Most parents and students do not care if there is a high population of transit students because they are top notch and most people think it is one of the best schools in all of Europe. Most parents are usually grateful for even a couple years at that school.  I am sure that the other international schools in Budapest are great but they will never compare to AISB. Good good luck making a decision.

not sure what age your children are but have you looked into Britannica school? English curriculum,  an excellent primary school with dedicated teachers. Student base is international - last count was 42 different nationalities and strangely for an international school, turnover numbers are not huge. Two classes per year group so enough scale and at the same time not too huge. Very family oriented school. my both boys enjoy going to this school.
