cherry or strawberry picking

hi moms,

does anybody know where you can do cherry or strawberry picking
anywhere close to budapest? I was thinking of this kind of arrangement
where you pay and then pick yourself cherries or strawberries
yourself...

The fields will open at the end of May- at the link below you can find all of the locations, at the moment you see that they are all closed. I have only been to the one in Solymár.

So I will almost definitely be going to the strawberry field near Budakalasz this Thursday morning if anyone would like to join us. We have visitors over and this will, hopefully, be great fun for the little ones. We will aim to arrive at the field for 9.30/10am. 

For those that don't have Google Chrome automatically translating the web page - from what I have worked out, this is the field on Tó Utca - Highway 11 towards szententre - located next to the Hermes department store (as translated...) For sat navs; longitude: 19.06914 Latitude; 47.62123.

Hi! You need to hurry up for strawberries, we were at Lupa Sziget (Budakalasz) today and not too much strawberries left after weekend and they're closing down on Thursday probably. But as far as i know you can pick all kind of fruits during the whole summer-early autumn, try to google "szedd magad".
