Hi all can anyone recommend a furniture shop in Budapest? We're looking to buy a bed, preferably wooden and are wanting something different from Ikea. Thanks, Lisa

Hi Lisa The Max City complex just beyond Budaors has been recommended to us for a wide range of furniture stores. You can also try Kika and we had luck with living room suite at Quattro Mobili. Lori

i like két templom galeria on paulay ede utca near deak ferenc tér. it's pricey, but the furniture is good quality and is more like country-house style, in case there's too much baroque at max city & too much modern at quattro mobili.
