Gelish nails

Hi : does anyone know where I can do 'gelish nails'?
 
This is the one that last 21 days, put on your natural nails and you have to take it off with acetone. When I ask I only get an answer that they do gel nails (where an artificial nail is glued to the nail).
 
Would appreciate any references!

OPI does it at MOM park, good quality stuff, bettern than crystal nails and other.

Actually, I think it's called 'shellac' and I've heard about very good results from people who go to Szilvia (haven't had time to try her myself) who has a small nail salon near the Szamos close to Normafa. Actually the salon is on the corner of Kolto utca and Diana utca in the 12th district.

I daresay they do it everywhere by now. I haven't been to the place where they have not ordered a gel lacquer by now because it's so popular.

In Hungarian it's called gél lakkozás.

Fake nails are called műköröm. They are also done from gel that dries under UV lamp, and many women use it to cover they own fragile nails to strengthen them.

I bought myself gel lacquer or nail polish so I could do it at home in different colours. It was a stupid investment because I realized after a couple of times that when you remove the gel polish it also takes one of the top layers of your nail with it. Not always and every nail, but mostly yes unfortunately. So my nails ended up not being more protected to grow faster but very fragile. 

It also lasts 2 weeks comfortably of you are using lighter shades and about 1.5 weeks if darker- not 21 days you would expect. I am talking based on the salon made nails here, not my own attempts. Actually the reason I got my own kit was because I got fed up with paying between 6,000 for something that lasted 1,5 weeks.

Here in Gödöllő there is a beauty salon that charges 2500 ft for a gél lakkozás.

I don't know about the gel thing but I love their pedicure and manicure.  Call Hella (06 20 3347765) if you want to make an appointment.  She doesn't speak English though :)

Actually I had a bad experience. I had gelish nails done home and when I came here and asked them to take it off, they did in a way (with acetone) which made my nails extremely fragile and took ages to grow out...
 
I've had mine for 2.5 weeks (done home) and they still look good except of course the nail is growing.... and it costs 12Euros ....

I highly recommend Shellac. I've been having it done for almost a year
and love it. Mine usually lasts about 10 days, sometimes 14 or more.
I pay roughly 5000 forint, with tip.

If it is the Shellac thing, they also do it at A-list Salon (one in Buda and one in Pest). Not sure what it costs as I haven't had it done myself yet, but I know from others that A-list is quite a trusted place for nails, hair and all sorts of salon / spa options. :)
