Hash Trash Report on the Sunday Run of BPH3, No. #1873 on 08/March/2026
In the sunny morning I went to the standard meeting place of BPH3, (11:30, Batthyány square at the West shore of river Danube), only to check if any other hashers had turned up.
Lacking any preliminary hash correspondence I expected to find nobody there, but I was wrong, thanks to hash gods.
Unboarding tram 19 I ran into a tourist wearing something that looked very much like a hash T-shirt.
And it was, indeed, as it turned out a little later, belonging to a sympathetic visitor tourist hasher from Nagoya, (Japan), River Dog by hash name.
River Dog caught Rabies, (that's me), and after waiting for ten more minutes for further hashers to arrive, (but in vain, unfortunately), the two of us started a "Follow me" sightseeing hash, a roughly 3 hours walk up and down Budavár hill and Gellért-hegy hill, finishing it with a two-men hillside Circle Ceremony across Hotel Gellért, with traditional hash songs and many well deserved down-downs.
I hope that visiting River Dog enjoyed this hash as much as I did, and as much as you can regret for missing it.
The only thing we couldn't manage was finding a hash hare for next Sunday.
Any volunteers???/:+))
On-On, Rabies
