Good hash news!
Hurray!!!
The turnout doubled, by 200%, compared to the lonesome hash on the previous Sunday!/:+))
Participants:
1. NFHN Vesna, a rarely coming long term BPH3 hasher.
2. Rabies, your humble hash trash scribe again, because of arriving at the meeting spot (Batthyány square) as the second and last, no matter that by 11:30, sharp.
The multicolour autumn forest and the weather were quite similar as they were on the Sunday one week before;
Pleasant, not too cold, mostly calm, with some sunshine and a little haze in the distance, turning the distance deeper by slightly changing the colour of faraway objects, (a phenomenon called valeur perspective, if I'm not mistaken), only to make the breathtaking views even more picturesque.
NFHN Vesna appointed me to be the hare, so the hash trail was much to my liking, of course.
We were visiting several paragliding takeoff clearings amongst the hills of Hármashatárhegy, sometimes following hikers' routes, sometimes my nose, climbing upward on downhill cyclist trails and steep bushy slopes.
At one of these takeoff clearings we found ongoing paraglider activity, and watched it for quite a while, to my great delight.
Maybe it was less delightful for admittedly cenophobic NFHN Vesna.
She hates flying, she never travels by planes, but she stayed by my side watching the daring paragliders, bravely, without complaints.
Coming down from the lookout tower on the hilltop we had an official Beer Stop in the bequem nearby Hangar Bistro, followed by a decent descent back to civilization in Óbuda, through the Farkastorok (wolf throat) abyss.
The ending Circle Ceremony had to be omitted, since only two persons can hardly form a round circle, can't they?
Anyway, a Circle wasn't really needed, NFHN Vesna kept me talking from the very beginning to the very end, maybe more.
After all, it was a nice hashing day, I think.
And here is some more good news, first of all for those BPH3 members who refrain from hashing only because of my irritating presence on hash runs:
No hash for me next Sunday (23_November_2025), I'll be busy elsewhere, so you can have a Rabies-free hash just the way you like.
But I'll be back for IH's Memorial Run in Biatorbágy on the 30th of November.
(And you can take it as a serious threat.../:+))
