The two-men hash crowd was quite surprised to learn that f.. king nobody else had turned up out of the hundred-plus registered BPH3 hashers.
Despite the sunny, almost ideal wintertime hash weather, although with some haze at the horizon, to admit the truth.
(OK, it could be called fog, but definitely not by British standards.../:+))
It's still hard to comprehend and find a satisfactory explanation for this massive negligence of the Hare's efforts.
Hare OMT - in his astonishment - dropped the paper bag from his hand and scattered all the flour on the trail, when I phoned him the bad news by noon from the meeting point.
Talking about the Hash trail of the day, in my opinion none of you deserves to learn the details, but I can tell that it was one of the best Hash trails ever laid in Budapest, colorful and clear, with spectacular views, just enough beer stops, some hash singing, breathtaking up-hills and ankle-breaking downhills on slippery shiggy, marked with deep purple chalk and snow-white flour blobs in a careful manner, including a few impish tricks, of course, yet remaining always reliable, empathic and hasher-friendly, across a familiar woodland but on unexplored, secret lanes.
And this was the last BPH3 Hash in 2024.
Wishing us a Happier New Hash Year I remain On-On,
Your rabid scribe, Rabies
