Here you can read the Hash Trash report, written on BPH3 Run No. #1883(?), Sunday, 17_May_2026, scribed by visitor Wooden Tart:

"Tres faciunt collegium", said the ancient Romans, and "two make a hash", they'd have added today, as Rabies joined your irregular visitor and today's scribe, Quizical aka Wooden Tart, for an improvised trail in weather so rainy, you wouldn"t send a dog out, as we Germans say...

After a short and dry tram ride to Gellert ter, we felt free to cross the Szabadsag bridge afoot to continue on the Pesti bank of the Danube towards the Athletic stadium.

Following Jonah's advice that in the belly of a whale it is often less wet than in the rain, we traversed the building named after this big mammal, passed by the National theater and the Ludwig Museum to finally arrive at the stadium.

Unfortunately, the stadium was closed until May 24 for a national competition.

So our initial plan to get around the stadium's upper stand on the running track was rained off (even though the rain stopped for a few minutes when we were there).

Insteaf we made a cultural stop near to Rabies' birthplace and a pee stop at the stadium's facilities.

Then we went back to the zikkurat near the Ludwig Museum where we had, besides a misty view on rainy Budapest, a palinka stop with some Luxemburgish mirabelle brandy, before heading for the final stage, which was Kopaszi Gàt.

Once we reached the Buda bank of the Danube, we performed a short hash song, our performance showing slight effects of the Luxemburgish liquor...

Then we entered the peninsula and the Veranda etterem for a beer, hoping that Nicola aka BLTN could join us there to make the ancient Roman proverbe cited in the beginning come true. Unfortunately, she couldn't make it.

So after having finished our beer the two of us trotted to the next bus stop, took the bus to Szent Gellert Ter where we performed the traditional Father Abraham song and dance before bidding goodbye.

Thanks for the great trail, Rabies, and hope to meet the rest of you BPH3-hashers, too, another time!
