Hash Trash Report on the Sunday Run of BPH3, No. #1871 on 22/February/2026

The very last Icy Hash, bidding a slippery farewell to the outdoor 2025-26 skating season.

Weather:

Mild, partly cloudy, with only a few drops of rain.

Participants:

One More Trail (Hare)

Oh La-La (Co-hare)

Rabies (Co-co-hare)

(Hares are exempt from paying, so no hash fees were collected this time.../:+))

Trail:

Mostly just round and round.

Exceptional events:

22_February is dedicated as the Day of Hungarian Skating, since the first Hungarian Winter Olympic Games gold medal won in 2018.

In memory of the Day the Rink organized a short track skating race for amateur visitors.

OMT simply won the gold medal in the heat for the 60+plus, he became the very first!/:+))

As we all know, Hashing is definitely not a competitive sport where excellence should be punished severely, so we immediately down-downed OMT with a shot of (his...) plum-pálinka, together with the congratulations.

After the skating no other hasher wanted to join the pack for a walk in the City Park, so the three of us sang the Hash Hymn fast and finished the beers at the ON_IN place.

Summary:

After all and despite some rain, this Hash Run could be called absolutely pleasant and happy, especially if the consumed hash beverages (beer and pálinka) are also taken into consideration.

Hints:

The Városligeti Műjégpálya sport facility is going to close down next weekend until next winter, so no need to worry about any more Skating Hashes, not in the near future, at least.

Accordingly, feel free to volunteer for haring on any of the upcoming BPH3 hash events!
