Carnival Sunday Hash in Budapest, No. #1879 on 08/February/2026!🎉🙃
Meeting: Any time in the morning on the outdoor ice of the Városligeti Műjégpálya, that is the skating rink in the City Park.
A continuation is planned in the City Park, outside the rink, starting from 14:15, after the skating facility closes.
(Even a skating Sunday Hash is better than none, the latter happening on too many Sundays, lately and unfortunately.../:+((()
We announce this icy event under the names of One More Trail, Oh La-La and my humble hasher self, Rabies, in the sincere hope that this time nobody is going to hack this final ice skating hash party of the winter.
The Carnival season started this week, so feel free wearing fancy hash dresses, making it also easier to spot each-other in the crowd.
We have to empty a few leftover German hash beer bottles, (granted to BPH3 by Paolo earlier), before the quality assurance expires, but beyond that you better equip yourselves with sufficient amounts of hash beverages, whatever you like.
On one of these days I found a "Surprise" free entry ticket, when I opened my skate locker.

Being a regular guest at this sport facility I actually can not make any use of the "Surprise" ticket, (having bought an entry ticket last November that is valid for the whole skating season), so here I offer this free entry ticket to a hasher in need, indeed, and who is willing to attend our Carnival Sunday Hash on Ice, too.
Just to make the event more attractive...😛

Ps for inquiring hashers:
The next Scottish Country Dancing (so called Ceilidh) event in Budapest shall be held on Saturday, right the night before the Sunday Skating Hash.
This Ceilidh is fit also for beginners.
Absolutely very beginners, I mean.
(Come on! If I can do it, you surely can do it, too!/:+))
BSTK (Budapest Scottish Dance Club) used to organize such fun evenings.
Details for the next one:
Time: Saturday, 07/February/2026, 19:30 – 22:30.
Place: ANGYALFÖLDI IFJÚSÁGI HÁZ, Dagály street 15/A., District 13., 1138 Budapest.
What to expect: Live music, professional dance cheerleaders, nice company, friendly atmosphere, good workout, tee and biscuits during the break.
Entry fee: 1500.- HUF.
Dress code: Nothing special, but better if fit for a refreshing workout.
Kilts and other checkered gears are welcome, however.
(Maybe fancy dresses, too, after all Carnival season is on.../:+))
Light dancing shoes without high heels are strongly recommended.
Age limit: 10 plus any number of years, both for ladies and gents, teenagers, families, friends, singles, couples, companionships and/or any other combination of these.
Access by public transport: M3 subway line, plus some 10 minutes walking from the “FORGÁCH UTCA” metro stop, or from the Pest side “Árpád híd” stop of tram line No.1, respectively.
