Hash Trash Report on the Sunday Run of BPH3, No. #1891(?) on 12/July/2026

In BPH3 the hash rule of thumb is:
Meet on Sundays by 11:30 at Batthyány square.
(By the parapet wall above the right side of river Danube, across the Parliament building on the opposite shore.)
Unless announced differently.
However, announcing ahead of time can be risky, so this time I refrained from doing it.
Why?
- I didn't want my tentative trail to be hacked at the last minute by somebody else, eventually, as it had happened to One More Trail's hash trail plans one week earlier.
- With a hash name "Rabies", I didn't want hash dogs to outnumber human hashers again.
(As I've overheard, last Sunday there were 6 dogs on the Hash, dog-fighting fiercely.)
- In my opinion, an ending Circle ceremony, where drinking down-down beers and singing Hash songs together, plus scribing a Hash Trash report are indispensable parts of an event if you want to call it a Hash, but all these were also missing last Sunday, as I was informed.
In order to prevent these mishaps occuring again, I decided to take the risk and did not announce ahead of time my intentions of being a live hare this Sunday, hoping that a good number of true and honest hashers are going to show up, anyway.
Well, the idea didn't work well enough, to tell the truth.
More precisely, I had to hash alone again.
Shit happens, as they used to say...
Otherwise the weather conditions were close to ideal for hashing.
Mostly overcast skies, refreshing winds cooling down the summertime heat, yet no raining.
Except for the public transport sections, the tentative "A" to "B" trail was walked in roughly 2 hours, (without false trails, of course...), half of it unpaved, starting with a "three in one" Beer Stop at the "No Posh" resto.
(That is (1)the first, (2)the last and (3)the only one.../:+))
Some more attractions on the Trail:
- An infamous secret zebra zoo (ZZ).
- Mini fairyland with an invisible lakeside light-tower and a fountain springing water of everlasting youth.
- A Holy Hash View (HHV) showing the rare-to-see back sides of the beautiful Buda hills.
- A panoramic staircase.
- A long walk across a shady hillside forest.
- A grocery shop selling ice cold beer also on Sundays, close to a clearing that could be an ideal Circle site.
- A pleasant pool and spa nearby, if you want to cool down after the Hash.

The trail was indeed interesting and beautiful, absolutely satisfactory, every participant was happy and perfectly content.
Hopefully there'll be a next time with more hashers showing up.
Until then
On-On, Rabies
