Please correct me if you know somebody left out from the list.

Anyway, there was one more hasher who signed up first, but cancelled her registration at the last minute, (allegedly because of one of her several dogs coughing), namely PP.
Earlier I overheard a suggestion to change her hash name from PP to Bad News, which is quite impossible, since hash names are given always for lifetime.
(Otherwise the situation could be summarized simply like this: "The good news is that there is no bad news.../:+))

By devising 4 sophisticated trails on top of each other, hare IH did his best to satisfy the needs of all hashers with different fitness levels, taking also into consideration the high number of old farts participating:
Trail "A": Cca 0.2 km from the nearest regional bus stop to the SERHÁZ On-In inn.
Trail "B": Cca 3.6 km from the Biatorbágy railway station to the SERHÁZ On-In inn.
Trail "C": Cca 7.8 km from the Biatorbágy railway station to the SERHÁZ On-In inn.
Trail "D": Same as Trail "C", with an extra 1.5 km loop added, re-joining the "C" Trail at the official Pálinka Stop spot midway.

IH, the exceedingly experienced hare did his best to make the FRB-s suffer in finding the correct trail, by deploying many of his marking tricks, and by Jove, he has lots of them.
The hard to spot, pale pink (flour and red pepper mix) marking blobs (put on white snow) helped also a lot in getting lost.
The consequence was total chaos, for instance the bottle of pálinka never arrived at the official Pálinka Stop place, where many other walkers had to wait in vain in the unfriendly and chilly environment. Rescue teams also went out, but without any results. Finally the three FRB hashers homed from three different directions.
However, everybody was content and happy with the trail at the end of the day, of course hiding it well from IH, the secretly celebrated hare of the day.

The weather could hardly be any shittier than it actually was.
Chilly winds, temperatures little above zero centigrade, rain showers falling onto the slowly melting snow, thus creating deep puddles in the already slippery, icy and muddy trails.
The smooth sole of my running shoes was anything but fit for such terrain conditions.
At one of the steep downhills I decided to sit down and rather slide on my bum, in order to prevent injuring my more valuable body parts, later getting a well deserved down-down punishment for it...
Having to miss PP, I soon became the slowest and weakest link in the walkers' chain.
Shame on me...

Respecting the rough weather conditions and the average over-age of the pack, the Circle was held indoors, around a huge rectangular table in the SERHÁZ pub.
RA Webfucker conducted the ceremony, brilliantly, as usual.
We sang all kinds of down-down songs, even the "Hashy Birthday fu...k you" for faraway PP, since none of us happened to attend her hecked Birthday Hash Run organized two weeks earlier.
The "Hash Memorial Song" was also performed one more time together, solemnly, spiritually meeting again our already deceased former hash mates.
Practically too, by gulping a shot of spirit ritually, (that is pálinka or something similar) during a short break in the song.

We had to have this "2nd Memorial Hash", because it was only the 1st where our Sunny Side Up could also attend.
Sunny Side Up was the wife of late hasher Burnt Toast, who passed away only a short time ago.
To understand the levels of their amazing kindness and outstanding hospitality, here is the brief story of their hash naming:
Once upon a time the passing-by hash pack tried to gate-crash their home located nearby the Trail, realizing the "If you don't come to the Hash, the Hash will go to you!" slogan.
Normally we were supposed to be kicked out straight, but, on the contrary, they got up and started to prepare an abundant, traditional English breakfast for all of us.
Sunny Side Up frying eggs sunny side up, Burnt Toast burning toasts turning them black.
I had to ask myself: Are they indeed British?

I had the privilege to be with the two of them also on occasions other than just hashing and partying, such as skiing excursions to Austria, playing snooker with other friends, going to paragliding open days, etc.
BS was always awfully too kind to me, caring, considerate, even sharing his whiskey supplies when I was in need, or buying me beers wherever we met.
Last time he did it was last summer, at a spectacular air show in Budaörs.
Owing him so much I really wanted to buy the next beer for him, in return, but somehow I couldn't do it over there.
In order to accomplish this intention of mine, now I have to wait until we meet again, hopefully in a heavenly hash pub...

On-On, Rabies
