Awesome, anything you can dig up would be greatly appreciated.
I am the curator of the HHH Genealogy . . . and while I have all the basic for the Budapest H3, I am also writing a book on the history of the HHH and how it migrated around the world, so any bits about the early days of your hash will go in the book.
Also, I have almost nothing on the H8 . . . as you can see . . . https://genealogy.gotothehash.net/index.php?r=chapters/list&country=Hungary No dates, no founder, only the name.

Thanks for that, will check up with Likk’mm for more details (although I’m unsure of any US Military in Hungary). There is a long list of hash clubs that had a short existence for one reason or another. I’ll keep looking for info on the Budapest H3 . . . all I have is this:
The Budapest H3 was founded by Bill Dickson on 20 Jun 1983, with the assistance of Mike Carbine and Manfred 'Silver Fox' Hass. He came to Hungary from Kenya, where he was running with the first iteration of the Nairobi H3.
There is a second listed for Hungary, what appears to be a short lived The Honorable Hot and Horny in Hungary Hash House Harriers and Hashettes (H8). There is no other information on this club.
As far as the document you sent, there is a bit of inaccuracy in there. My book on the history of the HHH will be coming out later this year and will point that all out. In general . . . Gispert was not Aussie. The HHH ran on Friday evenings before the war, Gispert was not around when they switched to Monday after the war.
If you want to see all 3000+ hash club listings, you can see it on my website at http://gotothehash.net
Thanks again, much appreciated,
