and I got the exact same file (with a different name): the command "diff bucky bucky.dms" showed no difference.
So you can safely remove the extension ".dms" to the file that you got. You might need to make the file executable too, as Safari didn't do that:
chmod u+x bucky
and try a basic check that it works:
./bucky --version
