10/12 : Siberian Chiffchaff : Tattenhoe, Milton Keynes.
One still present on a passing check of the frequented open section of the brook, southwest of the V2/Tattenhoe Street. Darker-mantled adult-type, seen since Saturday, showing well around waterside vegetation before later heading into a neighboring oak and towards nearby houses. Interestingly made a 'collybita-like' call twice, despite its very classic tristis-type appearance - clean white breast, subtle buff tones to the flanks, jet black legs. Perhaps a response to collybita-types also present? Photographed. Another image in the Bucks Bird Club website gallery.
