Hi Susan:
I've got a few ideas for Eric about what the Buckman Cleanup Coordinator
might do.
1. Show up to the cleanup committee meetings.
2. Bring enthusiasm and have fun, also bring your thinking cap for new
cleanup/recycle ideas.
3. Do outreach to the Buckman community, i.e. other volunteers, businesses
in Buckman-food and raffle items.
4. Enlist the help from Hinson Babtist Church for volunteers, they have
participated greatly in the past. 5. Last year we had two
volunteers from Buckman's Reach(?) program who were terriffic.
6. The learning curve is fairly easy, if I can do it, so can Eric.
7. The cleanup and recycling efforts help save our environment-earth and is
a noble cause.
8. Anyone who can eat pizza and walk in a straight line is welcome and more
than capable.
9. Most of all, it's fun and educational.
10. Jack Maynard was our committee chair last year: jmay...@peak.org,
contact him for more info.
Susan, I hope these insights will help Eric decide to participate with our
joint Kerns/Buckman Cleanup-2009.
