Re-Planting the Traffic Circles

In the next three weeks the Sustainability Committee of the Buckman Community Association will be REPLANTING three traffic circles which were dug up for sewer repair.  The Schedule is (in Alphabetical Order):

--Ash/SE 16th - Saturday March 22 at 9 AM

--Oak/SE 15th - Saturday March 29 at 10 AM

--Pine/SE 14th - Saturday April 5 at 10

Native plants which are less than two feet tall (for visibility) and other pollinator friendly plants are being procured with funds from a small grant from the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District - EMSWCD.  This grant is also funding expanding the "Picture a Garden" program and repainting street graphics at SE 15th and Alder and SE Ash and 16th at the end of May. 

So, come on down and help bring back the BEES

--wear work clothes and dress in layers

--bring your favorite tools

--be prepared for the weather!!!

--bring snacks if you wish
