Galina glared at Brighid. "You and your kind should have stayed out of this."

Galina sparkled like ice from all the glass. Her legs were bent in ways legs should not bend, but she stood anyways.

"There is no one more powerful than us!" To add strength to her words, thunder rumbled and lightning struck the ground around Galina.

"They're powerful enough!" Galina shouted.

"NO! THEY'RE NOT!"

Galina leapt at Brighid's throat.

Fire shot out and knocked Galina away from Brighid. "You will not harm my human vessel. I will not allow it."

"Molech will destroy her himself." Galina spat. "Or Ashtoreth."

[Muffin Puffin]

"They will be destroyed before having the chance to. It is foretold and is written in the books."

[Lazey Winde]

"Not all that is written will come to pass." Galina said. "I've seen their power."

[Muffin Puffin]

"All that is written shall come to pass. He who is Holy has made certain of such. Repent now and return to His love."

[Lazey Winde]

"Love is weak and interests me not." Galina said. "Pleasure is better and available now."

[Muffin Puffin]

"Not for long. He will destroy this village if He must."

[Lazey Winde]

Galina laughed. "The village will be sacrificed before then."

"Oh I doubt that. Go! Leave this village that He has blessed. It carries His protection!"

Galina cackled and walked away.

Balls of fire shot from Brie, engulfing Galina in flames.

Blood curdling shrieks came from Galina.

The being kept a steady volley of fireballs lobbing at Galina.

The shrieks finally ended in a thin wail.

One more blast was sent by the being, before it backed off. Stiffly, the being had Brie head for the healers and let herself in before collapsing in a heap on the floor.

Tegau heard someone come in and apparantly have a fall in the waiting room.

"I'll be right back." Tegau told Juel,  then went to the other room. She lifted the form's hood. "Brighid Lowell?"

Brigihid mumbled something incoherent, barely moving at all.

Tegau wished Difyr were here, she was the one who had gotten all the training to be a healer. Tegau felt Brighid's forehead and looked for injuries.

Brie was pale and still but no visible injuries could be seen.

[Lazey Winde]

Tegau lightly slapped Brighid's face, hoping that would revive her.

Brie moaned ever so lightly but didn't awaken.

"C'mon Difyr." Tegau muttered, looking towards the street, hoping to see the young healer coming.
