Nelek getting Aron

Nelek walked through the lobby, then headed to the office. He hoped that Aron was there, or at least Mr Buckley who could tell him where Aron is. Nelek rapped on the door to the office.

Aron paced the length of the office. "Bob, you just have to understand you can't bring these birds inside the inn. They make a mess, they frighten the guests and quite honestly, a bird doesn't like being trapped."

He glanced at the door. "Just a minute!" he called.

"I let the birds free here." Bob said, his eyes bright and innocent. "They like it here."

Nelek did not think Aron would appreciate him waiting out here when his wife could be in trouble. He cracked the door open. "Aron?"

Aron rubbed his temple. "But Bob, they aren't free when they are
inside. Birds are meant to soar in the sky, not make their way through
a maze of walls of an Inn."

He glanced up and frowned. Aron walked over to Nelek. "Yes, Nelek?"

"Uhm." Nelek realized that he should not have let Liadan leave the kitchen alone, he should have gone for Difyr, not her. No woman should be out alone with these attacks going on. He feklt like a jerk telling Aron that he let Liadan go out alone.

"Uhm, you wife was going to the healer's for Aislyn..." He began.

[Muffin Puffin]

Aron's eyes narrowed. "Why did Aislyn need the healer and why was Lia allowed outside alone? Wait, don't answer yet. I'm going to go find her and make certain she's safe then I will come back and deal with you."

He turned on Bob. "And you. One more bird in the Inn and it's your job."

[Lazey Winde]

Nelek had the feeling that Aron was going to give him a beating. He nodded numbly.

Bob  thought that Aron meant that he would be getting a new job as taking care of birds at the inn. He was delighted.

[Muffin Puffin]

Aron stormed out of the office.

Nelek meekly went back to his cottage and Aislyn.
