Hi everyone,

A bit of news from the BubHub-Sphere

Personally, I have been a bit quiet lately having been under the weather for a few weeks and now being preoccupied by life with an ever-active toddler. I think perhaps the same has happened with the other BubHub volunteers.

I just wanted to send out a message to let you know roughly what you can expect from BubHub over the coming weeks and months as we head into the warmer seasons.

Egg Decorating and Egg Hunt

Thurs 25th March - Join us from 1.30pm in celebrating the onset of Spring by helping to decorate papier-mache eggs. Bring your creative spark and any materials suitable for sticking and decorating.

Thurs 1st April - From 10.30am we will meet for fun and frolics in the Scented Garden at St Ann's Well Gardens for an Easter Egg Hunt. 

Please note that St Mary Mags Community Centre is shut for Easter, so there is no indoor meeting on this day.

Plans for Spring / Summer

As of mid-April, we are planning to start meeting outdoors. This is partly because we are having trouble meeting the costs of the Community Centre (and our funding application was unfortunately unsuccessful), and partly because we don't think that we will want to be trapped indoors anyway if the sun is shining.

The idea is to hold an indoor meeting perhaps once a month where people can access our library and other resources. Otherwise, we would like to invite you all (weather permitting) to meet up outdoors in parks and playgrounds. We will send you more details about this soon.

Of course, we will need back-up plans if the weather isn't suitable.

If you have ideas of places, indoor or outdoor, that we could meet - do drop us a line.
