Brighton Sling Babies Monthly Meet 2 - 4pm on Thursday 10th December, 09 Come along and have all your babywearing questions answered by some of Brighton and Hove's most dedicated sling users. Get help with a carrier you own, receive advice on what sling to invest in, try out and borrow one from the library and share the joys of babywearing with other parents and bubs. --------------------- Fever - Too Hot to Handle? A talk by homoeopath Carmel O'Dell

3 - 4pm on Thursday 17th December, 09 What should you do when your baby or child gets a fever? Do you need to worry? What is the purpose of a fever? When should you seek medical advice? Carmel O’Dell, a practising homeopath, will be giving a short talk on treating fever. She will discuss the role that a high temperature plays in fighting infection, and both the conventional and naturopathic approach to treating a fever. She will also discuss a number of homeopathic remedies that may be useful, and when you should seek medical advice. This will be a short and informal presentation with plenty of opportunity for questions, so please feel welcome to come along. --------------------- Arnica Meeting 12 - 1pm on Thursday 14th January, 2010 Arnica is a nationwide support network of parents interested in natural immunity. This meeting will be informal - the chance for a chat and to link up with like-minded parents. It is open to all parents interested in natural health and immunity, regardless of whether their children are vaccinated or not.
