I am using the (licensed) android app connected to a foobar 2k server on my home network. I have created playlists inside foobar with specific song ordering, but find that when I load those playlists into the app (via the server library), the order is always ascending by track title.

Everything is tagged, and all the tags seem to be read correctly by the app. A common example would be that the foobar playlist is sorted by album, then tracknumber. When connected to this library in the app and browsing the Media Library, say by Album Artist, I can add entire albums to the app playlist, and they show up as expected there. Tracks are grouped by album, albums are in the order added from library, and within albums, tracks ordered by tracknumber. I can create the same playlist in foobar, with the same order, but if I load the playlist (from that library) into the app, order is just by track title.

Is there something I'm doing "wrong" that is preventing the library playlist from loading in its original order?

Hi,

I do not remember exactly but foo_upnp has a limitation when exposing playlists where if a playlist has been browsed once by a client (BubbleUPnP) its order will remain as is until you restart foo_upnp. So if you make changes to foobar2000 playlists, restart foo_upnp might fix it for BubbleUPnP to enumerate the tracks in correct order.
BubbleUPnP itself always enumerate tracks in the order the server returns them to the app.
