Equalizer settings in Android BubbleUPnP

Do the Equalizer settings in Android BubbleUPnP affect the sound that it casts to a renderer or are they just for local playback by the phone?

I ask because I like them listening through my bluetooth headset, but would not want them to affect playback when I cast to my hifi.
