Hi folks

Kudos for the guys who developed such a server in Java. I love it :-)

As I'm discovering BubbleUPnPServer, I will certainly ask stupid questions. So don't blame me or shot me in flames ;-)

The server is running very well on my rockpro64 (= debian OS) where the MiniDLNA server runs too to stream my music mp3, flac files. I can access the music using VLC player opened on my laptop or from a local laptop using Navidrome (= http://dietpi.local:4533/app/#/album/27EBpsTe2aQ5fremYDyRrJ/show).

I can access the BublleServer UI at the address: http://192.168.1.200:58050

When I try to access it from the Android bubbleup application, then connection fails as the IP address is not publicly routed.

Is there a way/trick to allow to access it in a local LAN from Android bubbleup application ?
Can Marantz 70S access it too using Heos ?

Cheers

Hi,

Can you confirm that you want to use BubbleUPnP Server to access the media managed by miniDLNA from outside your local network (using Android BubbleUPnP outside of your home network) ?

Can you explain what you mean exactly with "Can Marantz 70S access it too using Heos ?" ?

Hi Michael,

"Can you confirm that you want to use BubbleUPnP Server to access the media managed by miniDLNA from outside your local network (using Android BubbleUPnP outside of your home network) ?" Yes or inside my home network

"Can you explain what you mean exactly with "Can Marantz 70S access it too using Heos ?" As Marantz or Denon ampli uses Home Entertainment Operating System - HEOS, i'm wondering if it could access or discover the MiniDLA server and/BubbleUpNP ?

Remark:  I was able to open the port of the firewall of my lan-wifi-router and can now access the BubleUpnp server using the public internet address from the browser of my mobile phone. Nevertheless that fails when I use the same public internet address from Android BubbleUpNP application as documented here to configure the connection: https://www.bubblesoftapps.com/bubbleupnpserver2/docs/connect_with_bubbleupnp.html

Regards

Charles
