Playback speed

Hi, is there a way to change the playback speed? I am using this app to share a playlist from another app (Podcast addict) to my Sonos speaker. Even if I adjust playback in the Podcast addict app, it doesn't change it in playback on the Sonos via BubbleUPnP. And I don't see a way to adjust it within the BubbleUPnP settings. If I'm missing it, I apologise. Thanks in advance.

HI,

Changing playback speed is not supported. This would be difficult to implement as it would require to generate a sped up or slowed down PCM stream.

I understand your request but there is no plan for it.

One possible solution is to use your Podcast app to play the podcast at the speed you want and play that to your Sonos in BubbleUPnP using the Audio Cast functionality that captures audio from (most) other apps. It is found in the Now Playing tab, Cast icon, Audio Cast toggle.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I appreciate it. I will look for the Audio Cast functionality you mentioned. I think I may have tried it before and found it not to work, but I will look again.
