hello everybody, I am experimenting a strange behaviour in these days. I have installed a Bubbleupn server on an Android tablet and created openHome renderers for two dlna renders and for both of them set the audio decoding to PCM with many different options (expecially the downsampling to 48 kHz because for one of these renderers there is a limitation when playing via wifi), but I've not been able to make these settings working, the audio passes as is (I'm playing music up to 24.192) to the renderers and no decoding is performed by the server. What could be the issue?
Thank you

Hi,

Are you playing to the OpenHome renderer managed by BubbleUPnP Server, wrapping your 2 DLNA renderers ?
This is necessary for the downsampling to be performed.

yes, I'm playing (Qobuz music) to the OpenHome renderers configured on the Bubbleupnp server using Linn Kazoo controller. With a Bubbleupnp server installed on my Macbook, same renderers and same configuration everything works, the downsampling is correctly performed.

OK.

first make sure the mac instance of BubbleUPnP Server is not running.

In Android BubbleUPnP Server, can you:

- enable 3 dot menu > Logging to file
- exit and restart BubbleUPnP Server
- play a track to an OpenHome renderer that should be downsampled
- exit  BubbleUPnP Server

Does not work with all renderers. See documentation

Attention avec 2 sonos-fives un seul fonctionne en  OpenHome renderer

j ai dû essayer l un puis l'autre pour trouver le bon

Problem has been identified and only concerns running 'BubbleUPnP Server' on Android. For any OpenHome renderer managed by 'BubbleUPnP Server' on Android,
the FFmpeg settings are not applied and inoperant. It will be fixed in an update.
