YouTube Music support - plans to support ?

Hi, having transitioned from Google Music, I'm missing being able to access my Google-based music library and stream the tracks to my non-Google renderers.

Are there any plans to support this ?.

Given all the great work you've done (and continue to do), I have no objection to paying for a license uplift. I'd like to think you'd get some support for this from the community.

Please let me know your thoughts...

Hi,

It is not possible to support YTM to the same level than Google Music was.

However, from the YTM app, you can share tracks/albums/public playlists to BubbleUPnP,

using 3 dot menu on relevant item > Share > Choose BubbleUPnP.

Hi,

Thanks for coming back to me. I tried this and it worked well for me. It queued the whole album I was playing, which I then set the renderer to my Roberts Stream 83i radiio.

There was a bit of lag between manual song switching, but that was most likely my network :-)

Playback moved naturally from one song to the next, and I was able to advance to a different point within a song.

Great work - short of the full implementation, this sorts out my issue - thank you!

Doing this results in illegal mime type code 714 error. Has something changed?
