This problem keeps popping up when Google changes its security settings.
Is there an imminent fix? Or can I do anything to circumvent the problem? Google implies that the ball is in bubbleupnp's court.

Hi,

Google Drive will be unfortunately removed in the next update.
To allow Google Drive integration, Google now requires app developer to do an expensive annual security audit of the app,
which is cumbersome and that I cannot justify.
The alternative is to use a different supported cloud storage service (OneDrive, Box, Dropbox) if that's possible, for the media you want to access in BubbleUPnP.
Another solution is to add Google Drive files to the Playlist tab using Playlist tab > 3 dot menu > Add from File Picker,
pick your Google Drive account to browse in the hamburger pane (requires to be logged into the Google Drive app).
This method requires the license currently.

Thanks for the advice.  I have a license. I found the File Picker solution unsatisfactory and results in downloading the files to my phone, so I'll consider moving my recordings to OneDrive. I hope the same problem doesn't arise with OneDrive.

Absolutely gutted to hear this, the primary reason I chose Bubble was to play from my Google Drive, but I completely appreciate this is typical Google being Google.

Thank you so much for providing a brilliant application, it's just a shame that I won't be able to continue using it anymore...
