Hi!
I'm looking for help with my licensed bubbleupnp android app.

I use the app to stream tidal audio to my upmpdcli+mpd installation on linux machine.
The point is that it skeeps dozens of tracks from playlist randomly from time to time. It could happen once an hour or 6 times an hour. I did'nt succeed finding any relevant events that preceded the point. From mpd side the logs says that there is a server error 500 while decoding proxy stream from bubbleupnp. I've investigated logs from bubbleupnp side and found out that there are some messages out there when the mentioned behaviour appears. For sorrow there's not much to understand from these logs for regular user. Pls see attached bubbleupnp logs that i've sent via support e-mail. Looks like some exceptions in java regarding tidal integration. In the provided file the first track plays ok, but the next ~20 tracks are skipped. Then again 2 tracks is ok and after that some was skeeped again. As you can see it's not the screen turn off issue as i presumed at first.

Can you please fix the issue? Any ideas?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in BubbleUPnP.

The log shows that the failure is caused by TIDAL returning http error 401 ("Unauthorized") when BubbleUPnP
is requesting the playback stream URL.

This is unusual, but could be caused if some tracks are not available for streaming in your country.
When this problem happens again, can you check if these tracks are playable in the TIDAL app
or the TIDAL web player ?
This error can also happen if you are at the same time you are playing a TIDAL track elsewhere (for example in the TIDAL app or web player).

Best regards,
Bubblesoft
