No chromecast function on any chromecast or android tv

As of today April 7th will no longer cast to any chromecast with a time out error code 15. Tried on several different chromecasts including an android TV and several different devices with various android versions. As far as I'm aware worked fine on all devices yesterday. Error code says restart devices. Doesn't help. Haven't changed any settings on any devices or chromecasts.

Same here..thought it was just me..keeps giving error timeout code 15.

Same for me, from this morning (Action failed: failed to lauch BubbleUPnP app on Chromecast: TIMEOUT (code: 15)), apparently since version 3.6.5 updated (on two devices).

Same problem here, using BubbleUPnP 3.6.5 (arm64-v8a), casting to Chromecast.

Today, 10 March 2025, I was not able to connect to Google Chromecast. All the suggested restarts didn't work..

I am using Minim Server from my Synology NAS. BubbleUPnP for DLNA/Chromecast version 4.4.11.

Hi,
This is a global problem currently on all Chromecast Audio and Chromecast 2 due to TLS certificate that has expired.
It affect all apps. Look the top topic on reddit for details:
Hopefully it will be fixed by Google but nobody knows when exactly.
