Playlist order of albums

Hi,

I´m using the Bubble DS app on my Android tablet. When loading an entire album it apears in alphabetic order in the playlist and not by title number. And it is also played in this order. When I started using the app it was not like this. I would like to have the old sorting again and I don´t know how to set it. Can you help?

Hi,

I suppose you are browsing the filesystem folders of your library (UPnP/DLNA media server)  by filesystem folders ?
Browsing filesystem folders usually results in files (album tracks there) being listed in alphabetic order.
That's why most UPnP/DLNA media servers usually have a dedicated way to browse music, indexed by file tags,

so albums are listed in the tracknumber order that you would expect. Browsing by filesystem is the last resort, with its limitations.

Speaking of which what is your Library ?

2 possible solutions to this issue:

- in BubbleDS, try enabling More > Gear icon > Individual UPnP/DLNA media server settings > (Pick your Library) > Smart sort.
It will make BubbleUPnP attempt if possible to reorder a folder in a way that makes sense for an album (sorted by tracknumber). This is not always possible
is BubbleUPnP has not all the required info to do it.

- install MinimServer, and excellent media server for music.
it will still require your files are properly tagged for proper album categorization.
