Access Bubble UPnP server from the Internet via iOS/macOS App

Are there iOS or maOS applications that allow to access the BubbleUPnP server from the internet?  There is a macOS version of foobar2000, but the foo_upnp plugin seems not to be supported.

There is a way using foobar2000 iOS.

You can connect to BubbleUPnP Server this way in iOS foobar2000:

Go into 'Media Servers' and add a 'User specified server' with this URL:

http://<user>:<password>@<public ip>:58050/DeviceDescription.xml

where:

- <user> and <password> are the user/password that you have set in the BubbleUPnP Server 'Network and Security' page

- <public ip> is the public ip address displayed in the status page

If it connects OK, you should see a browse tree whose root nodes are the UPnP media servers for which 'Make this Media Server available in BubbleUPnP for Android and foobar2000 for Internet access'

is enabled (in the 'Media Servers' page).

Hi BubbleUPnP author,

I've just got an iphone from work and try to set it up.

It works mostly, but it returns "Empty folder" for everything I browse until I go back and try again , and this half of the time

Any idea where the issue would be?

I finally found the cause of this issue: a very obscure bug in BubbleUPnP Server that took a while to understand and find, although the fix is very simple.

It will require a BubbleUPnP Server update, not too far off.
