The Buddha calls the four stations of mindfulness "all teachings"
(sarva-dharma), and he means it. SA, 633, 175c, Maha-Vibhasa, T, 27, 1545,
936c21-22, Vyakhya, 529: sarva-dharma iti bhiksavas caturnam
smrty-upasthananam etad adhivacanam iti.
Mindfulness (awareness) sums up all Buddhist practice, without remainder.
If one does it right, it is surely the only meaningful sense of
spirituality -- Buddhist spirituality.
