I have two problems I'm encountering with btstack on esp32:

My goal is to imitate another bluetooth device, so for that goal I have read all of this other device's SDP records:

static uint8_t mote_service_buffer_1[] = {0x36, 0x00, 0x4d, 0x09, 0x00, 0x00, 0x0a, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x09, 0x00, 0x01, 0x35, 0x03, 0x19, 0x10, 0x00, 0x09, 0x00, 0x04, 0x35, 0x0d, 0x35, 0x06, 0x19, 0x01, 0x00, 0x09, 0x00, 0x01, 0x35, 0x03, 0x19, 0x00, 0x01, 0x09, 0x00, 0x05, 0x35, 0x03, 0x19, 0x10, 0x02, 0x09, 0x00, 0x06, 0x35, 0x09, 0x09, 0x65, 0x6e, 0x09, 0x00, 0x6a, 0x09, 0x01, 0x00, 0x09, 0x00, 0x09, 0x35, 0x08, 0x35, 0x06, 0x19, 0x01, 0x00, 0x09, 0x01, 0x00, 0x09, 0x02, 0x00, 0x35, 0x03, 0x09, 0x01, 0x00};

And I am attempting to register all three records under btstack, however when I read them with sdptool I only get the first two. Why is this the case? I can't imagine its the fact that t he record handle is 0, because apparently that is the correct record handle for a sdp server service record.

The second part of this is that I need my device to use legacy pairing with a custom 6 byte seed, how do I do so?

Hi Anshal

Bleutooth reserves SDP Record Handles 0x0001-0xffff. don't know about handle 0x0000, but BTstack doesn't allow to use handle 0x0000.
Just use 0x10000 and higher.

Also, BTstack keeps the SDP Records sorted by record handle, if you add a second record with an existing handle it will not be added. You can check the return value of sdp_register_service.

--

You cannot enable legacy pairing, but you can disable Secure Simple Pairing with gap_ssp_set_enable(0).

Cheers
Matthias

Is there somewhere in btstack I can modify so that I can enable legacy pairing? The device I am mimicking does not support SSP.
