Hi Matthias!

I just did a tx power measurement on my PAN1326 and I have noticed that the tx power level is only -20dBm. So I tried to change the output power with "bt_control_cc256x_set_power(10)" after having initialized the HCI connection. Unfortunately, this did not work, so I tried it again before initializing HCI but with no success either.

When can one change the tx power level? Or do I need to do something else before or after calling "bt_control_cc256x_set_power(10)"?

Best regards,
Lars.

hi Lars

bt_control_cc256x_set_power should be called before HCI starts up. Aside from implementing the snippets I got from TI’s EE web forum, I never actually measured power. Check out the code in bt_control_cc256x that adjusts the init script to set the power.
