btpd connection refused

Hello,
i compile btpd on the modem and i start download torrent, i do 2 downloads then when i tape btcli add -d foo.torrent.d foo.torrent i have this message "cannot open connection to btpd in /root/.btpd (Connection refused)."
Please how can i do to resolve this problem.

you may have to do run btcli as root: "sudo btcli add -d foo.torrent.d foo.torrent"
it seems like it is looking in the /root/ home folder for .btpd directory. this probably means you dont have read permission for /root, which means you are not running as root.

it okay i run it, now i lunch the code to start downloading torrents but until now , the download does not start i dont know why :( .

That's why i found in the end of my logfile :
Apr 22 05:55:19 btpd: Starting torrent 'WinRAR 5.01 FRENCH FiNAL [x86x64] + Key'
Apr 22 08:13:18 btpd: Starting torrent 'The Knowledge Encyclopedia'. 

I don't know where is the problem?

what does is say when you run "btcli stat"?

when i tape btcli stat it say :
NAME                                                              NUM ST   HAVE    SIZE   RATIO        
The Knowledge Encyclopedia                               6 L.         0.0% 105.96M   0.00 
WinRAR 5.01 FRENCH FiNAL [x86x64] + Key        5 L.        0.0%   3.84M    0.00

The download does not start.

chances are nobody is seeding the torrents you wish to leech.

Plese check the tracker which you downloaded the .torrent files from
and look at how many seeders the torrents have.

BTW what you posted is the output of btcli list. :-)
btcli stat -n
gives you some further info.
