Hello,
I downloaded btk 0.2 for Mac. I noticed it's 64-bit, but this was the only Mac OS version of btk I found on the downloads page (?). However, I use Matlab's student version r2010a, which is 32-bit, even for Mac. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure all the student version releases of Matlab are 32-bit (again, even for Mac).

(I use OSX 10.6.8)

I believe I set the path for the btk toolkit correctly when I installed it. But when I give the btkReadAcquisition command to load a c3d file, I receive this error message:
??? Undefined function or method 'btkReadAcquisition' for input arguments of type 'char'.

Is this a compatibility issue? Can anything be done? Given my hardware/software constraints, it would help me greatly to be able to use the MacOS btk kit with my student version.

Thanks in advance for assistance,

Peter

Dear Peter,

As you mentioned, the version proposed for MacOS X is only in 64-bit mode as I didn't know that the student version is limited to the 32-bit mode.

Can you download an try the package proposed in this link: Download? The installation steps and its use in Matlab are exactly the same than for the other package.

If it works, then I will add it as an official package on the website.

Thanks,

Arnaud

Hi Arnaud,

Looks like a success! So far, I've used the btkReadAcquisition, btkGetMarkers, and several other commands and loaded the respective files and structures successfully.

Many thanks,
Peter

Thanks for your feedback Peter. I added the package on the website: https://code.google.com/p/b-tk/wiki/MatlabBinaries
