Recruitment of UTM Tourism Society Executives

Dear Students,
 
Following the launching of the University of Technology Tourism Society, we are now recruiting executive members to incorporate our dynamic and performance-focussed team.
 
According to the University of Technology Act 2001, the society will require executive members including the president so as to be fully operational. In this context, to be able to exploit the potential of the tourism students of the university, we have decided to recruit members of different levels and from different tourism cohorts.
 
 
The roles of the executive members shall be as follows:
(a) Define the objectives of the society
(b) Assist in taking decisions pertaining to activities envisaged
(c) Create communication channels with tourim related organisations of the industry
(d) Assist in activities led by the society
(e) Ensure proper sharing of academic knowledge between students
(f) Organise seminars when deemed as necessary
(g) Promoting friendly relationships between tourism cohorts
(h) Assist in immediate job placement of UTM tourism students upon graduation

The Tourism Society look forward to welcome those who feel they can be very active and dynamic and who can, with a sense of flawless co-operation, support the UTM Tourism Society in reaching its full capability of promoting our fellow tourism students.
