Greetings from the Department of Biotechnology Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. Happy to inform you that we are organizing a  “PAN-IIT Conference on Cancer Precision Medicine and Personalized Therapeutics” at IIT Madras, Chennai during  Jan 31st to 2nd Feb 2019.

The major aim of this meeting is to bring some top notch scientists from around the world working on both basic and translational cancer research to this side of the world to facilitate scientific exchange and collaborations. This will be a unique meeting of this kind and in very session, we will have lectures including panel discussions focused on a specific aspects of cancer.  We aim to bring forces from both ends of basic and translational cancer research together to understand the language and to bridge the gap. Like all meetings, maximum importance will be given to student participations and in every session we will have at least two short talks from young students, postdocs and junior faculties. The meeting will cover presentations from cancer genome projects, cancer functional genomics, cancer immunogenomics, epigenomics, metabolomics, cancer mouse models and the translation and clinical impact of scientific results.

We have an outstanding list of speakers in basic and translational cancer research with key note and honorary lecturers delivered by some of the leaders in this arena of research. The conference is primarily supported by IIT Madras, Chennai and Mehta Family foundation, Houston, USA a non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to provide support for human health related research.

We are also expecting support from EMBO and Nature and scientific journals like, Elife, EMBOJ, JCB, JCS and Science Signaling with several travel awards and poster prizes
