The one about the Inter Department League

IITM Sports has planned on conducting an inter-department league for cricket, volleyball, chess, Frisbee, basketball, and football this semester. Since only one team is allowed to represent the department in each sport, please fill the following form ASAP as the final team lists need to be submitted by 17th. Selections will be held before 17th (obviously)

PFA rulebook for team composition and other rules.

An updated rule for cricket - the team needs to have at least 2 girls and the rest of the players can be divided among the UG or PG depending on their availability.

An update on the general rule - an institute team player/probable who is part of any team is not allowed to participate in IDL. For example, an institute volley team player can't play in cricket.

Update on football -
A girl player can tackle another girl player. Any player can intercept a bad touch taken by a girl player.

The final date for sending the team list has been postponed to the 20th of August.
